Software Testing Magazine – Testing Circus – July 2015 Edition
Software Testing Magazine – Testing Circus July 2015 Edition is out. This is the 58th edition of this magazine.
We get lots of requests from testing leaders to interview them in our monthly edition. Well, we don’t get those requests directly but mostly through some marketing or PR agencies. They wish we published and talked about their organization processes, best practices and tools they have introduced to the testing market. We have out rightly rejected many requests even though few of them wanted to donate dollars to run our software testing magazine.
Our selection criteria for interviewing and putting that person on our cover page is really a random choice but we have always tried to select testers who have really contributed to the testing community, and not avoided those who have only been earning designation and money using testing as a profession. We do not deny the contribution of those professionals to their own organisations but we are not here to celebrate people whose main ambition is to earn salaries from corporate ladders. We are here for community and we exists because of the support from testing community. We publish interviews for testing leaders, not testing dealers. Sorry!
Meanwhile, we are really excited about our testing magazine completing 5 years this September. Time flew by and we are just two editions away from reaching out 60th edition. Time to celebrate.
Hope you will enjoy the articles and Geordie Keitt’s interview. That’s all for today. See you in the next edition. Happy testing!
